EVENT HISTORY

　Churchlands Senior High School traveled to Japan for the first time for a five-city concert tour promoting musical exchange in Japan and kickstarted the exciting event with an outdoor performance at Roppongi Hills Arena in the heart of Tokyo. Churchlands Senior High School is located in Perth, Australia, and has a renowned elite music program.

　

　This event consisted of six parts: a big band, guitar ensemble, vocal ensemble, brass band, orchestra, and an all-student chorus, displaying expertise across genres.

　Roppongi Hills Arena has seating open to the public for relaxing or enjoying refreshments, and the concert stage was located close to this seating area, so visitors to Roppongi would be met by the delightful sound of the concert.

　The concert was held without extensive advertising, but many passersby stopped to listen to the student's performance, attracted by the sounds played from the stage. The event was a true reflection of the Roppongi Hills Arena's concept of a "new urban plaza" where "something is always happening," and something surprising can always be discovered.

　

　Roppongi Hills Arena is located near Roppongi Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and Toei Subway Oedo Line. Azabu Juban Station on the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line and Toei Subway Oedo Line is also nearby.
