　From August 9 to 11, 2025, a global apparel company hosted a three‑day summer school for elementary school students at IMAGINUS, a hands‑on science experience facility in Suginami Ward, Tokyo.

　During the program, guest instructors were invited to lead a variety of workshops on themes such as sustainability, nature, and science. The activities were highly rated for providing content useful for students' independent research projects. Over the three days, 273 children participated, with total attendance reaching 423, including parents and other visitors. In addition, IMAGINUS continued its regular programs, allowing participants to enjoy the facility's special summer programs as well.

　IMAGINUS is a renovated former school building transformed into an educational facility where anyone can experience science. Its original features, such as the school gate, classrooms and gymnasium, create a nostalgic atmosphere for adults and the venue is available for events such as seminars and parties.

　The organizer of this summer school was introduced to IMAGINUS by the Tokyo Unique Venues Support Desk. They explained that the venue met all of their requirements, offering multiple spaces within the facility suitable for hosting different types of events, fully equipped water supply and drainage systems, and a high degree of flexibility regarding the bringing in of materials such as soil for workshops.

　Participants shared that being able to enter the classroom and watch their children fully engaged in the activities was highly appreciated. They also noted that the variety of spaces kept both children and adults entertained, ensuring that waiting times never felt dull, greatly enhancing overall satisfaction.

　With the support of IMAGINUS, the flexible arrangements and distinctive spatial design played a key role in the success of this year's Summer School. The organizers also expressed that, based on this positive experience, they would be eager to consider hosting future events at IMAGINUS.
