On December 22, 2025, the Japan Tableau User Group 2025 Annual Meeting was held at Miraikan - National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation. Miraikan offers various facilities ideal for business events, including the Symbol Zone featuring the Geo-Cosmos (the world's only Earth display), as well as exhibition zones, the Observation Lounge, and Miraikan Hall. For this event, the 7th-floor spaces were utilized so that participants could move freely between sessions and explore various programs across the venue.

At Miraikan Hall, the main program was presented, including keynote lectures by researchers, a live radio recording, an awards ceremony, and a rapid data creation competition. Equipped with simultaneous interpretation facilities, the hall is designed to accommodate academic meetings and international conferences, and these capabilities were utilized fully during the event.

In the conference rooms Venus, Mars, and Mercury, the removable walls were opened and connected to the lobby as one larger area, which was used for sponsor booths, sponsor sessions, and presentations showcasing examples of data utilization. This created an interactive networking space centered on "lightning talks", where participants could "see," "talk," and "connect."

As part of the event's sub‑content, Conference Room Jupiter was divided into two sections. One side showcased an exhibition of data‑generated artworks and a photo spot, while the other served as a community consultation area. The space sparked many productive conversations, leading to tangible outcomes that highlighted the strength of the user community - from sharing real business challenges and exchanging practical tips to forming new collaborations, including invitations to co‑present at future user group events.

After the main program, a networking reception was held in the Observation Lounge. With the night view of Odaiba as a backdrop and live band music setting a relaxed, festive mood, participants enjoyed an easy, informal atmosphere that encouraged conversation and connection.

A previous edition of this event was held at Kanze Noh Theatre, making this its second time at a unique venue. For this edition, the organizers set the theme as "connection" and placed importance on creating an environment that fostered interaction. This included expanding the sponsor area and introducing art exhibitions. This also naturally resonated with Miraikan's vision of serving as a platform for creating the future with you, demonstrating strong compatibility as a stage where communities can grow.
