SKY LAB
SKY LAB, developed as a part of the large-scale renovation at the Otemachi Building and originally built in 1957, is a greenery-filled workplace atop the 4,000-square-meter roof of this historic building. Situated in a valley-like space surrounded by skyscrapers, SKY LAB features unique spatial characteristics that give visitors the sense of being in an aerial courtyard-like space. Convenience is another appealing feature of the SKY LAB as it is located in an office district not far from Tokyo Station.
The space provides a number of different rest areas with seating such as the long counter stool seats looking down on the Marunouchi Naka-dori street (the main street in the district) and sofa seats overlooking the Imperial Palace, as well as one of the largest rooftop farms in Tokyo. The calm and quiet rooftop space is popular among business people working in the area for relaxing and has been used for yoga events. This facility can be used for various events, parties, and other occasions, matching the event size and purpose.
