Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum

Established in the midst of the verdant greenery of Ueno Park as Japan’s first public fine arts museum, people of all generations have come to enjoy great art. Designed by Kunio Mayekawa, a Japanese master of modern architecture, when lit up at night the museum building looks magical in its park setting. The museum can accommodate around 200 guests for such events as award ceremonies in the auditorium or parties in the restaurant.
