Re;PLACE KOISHIKAWA
Built in 1920, this residence is one of the few modern Japanese-style buildings located in the heart of Tokyo. While many similar architectural works have been lost over time, this miraculously surviving residence also has value as a cultural asset. Visitors can relax comfortably thanks to the spacious property, and the 3.5-meter-high ceiling in the Japanese-style rooms. An excellent place to experience a wide range of Japanese culture, such as flower arrangement, calligraphy, and kimono wearing. Japanese tea ceremony gatherings can also be held at the Chashitsu, a small Japanese tea house located in the back. The renowned four seasons of Japan can be enjoyed overlooking the garden from the Japanese-style rooms. Guests from abroad will be delighted with their experience at this residence, which lets them sample the many flavors of Japan.
