Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum

This open-air museum is home to historically and culturally valuable buildings dating from the early Edo to early Showa eras (1650s-1950s), that have been relocated to and rebuilt here at the museum. You can slip back through time to experience the daily life of old Tokyo and connect more deeply with Japanese culture. Enjoy a quiet, refined interlude for a relaxed conversation at the vintage café in the House of Georg de Lalande, a Western-style building from the Meiji era (1868-1912).
