The Japanese Sword Museum

As much a work of art as it is a symbol of samurai culture, the Japanese sword has been venerated since ancient times as far more than just a weapon. This sword museum, designed by Japan’s leading Modernist architect, Fumihiko Maki, opened in Ryogoku in January 2018, and overlooks the Yasuda Garden.
