Yamatane Museum of Art
Based on the private collection of one of Japan’s leading financiers, this museum opened in 1966 as the first in Japan specializing in modern Japanese style painting. This venue provides an excellent opportunity to appreciate modern and contemporary Japanese art. As well as enjoying the artworks in the galleries, the lobby and cafe space can be used as a venue for lectures or receptions. This is a unique opportunity to become more familiar with traditional Japanese aesthetics.
