Umewaka Noh Academy Hall

Umewaka Noh Academy Hall is located in a quiet area in Nakano Ward with easy access to the Shinjuku area. The academy is built within the residence of the Umewaka family, the head family of the sect with a history of more than 50 generations, and where the performances by the Kanze School are staged. Historical atmosphere can be sensed from the lobby, and the Noh stage with a capacity of 300. In addition to enjoying Noh performances, arrangements can be made to exhibit Noh costumes, experience Noh lecture sessions, or reserve the space for fashion shows, concerts, and other variety of events.
